Canada admitted 3,835 PRs via the Atlantic Immigration Pilot in 2019
In November 2019, 325 foreign nationals immigrated to Canada via the Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program (AIPP). As of November 30, 2019, Canada admitted 3,835 new permanent residents in the AIPP.
Most Atlantic Pilot immigrants settled in New Brunswick. This province accepted 1,695 immigrants (44.2%). 1,440 AIPP newcomers went to Nova Scotia (37.55%).
Newfoundland and Labrador admitted 370 immigrants in the program (9.65%). Finally, Prince Edward Island admitted 330 newcomers (8.6%). Since the launch of the program in March 2017, Atlantic Immigration Pilot has brought 5,330 immigrants to Canada.
