COVID-19 affected Quebec immigration

In response to the outbreak of the COVID-19, the Quebec Ministry of Immigration, Francisation and Integration (MIFI) released several measures to protect the health of the public and prevent the spread of the coronavirus. MIFI suspended the French courses for newcomers, nevertheless, the province will continue to pay the allowances for the students studying French within the framework of PAFILI. The officials also cancelled all the appointments and will not accept documents in person. Clients need to mail the documents or drop them in the document deposit box. Quebec also postponed all information sessions and recruitment events.
