On January 10, 2020, Manitoba published the new statistics for Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) nominations. In December 2019, MPNP nominated 769 Skilled Workers and 1 business candidate. Additionally, MPNP approved 1 business concept. Manitoba also refused 85 profiles of Skilled Workers and 1 business-profile. The province received 391 new applications from Skilled Workers and 3 applications from Business Investors. In total, in 2019 MPNP issued 4,854 nominations certificates, including 4,812 for Skilled Workers, 13 business nominations and approved 36 business concepts.
