Newfoundland and Labrador issued a call for proposals to enhance settlement and integration services

 

On December 21, 2020, the Minister of Immigration, Skills and Labour of Newfoundland and Labrador Gerry Byrne issued a call for proposals to facilitate settlement and integration services to newcomers in the province. The government will prioritize proposals related to community attachment, support for international graduates, international recruitment, and immigration pathway navigation. The deadline for proposal submissions is February 5, 2021. Newfoundland and Labrador also reaffirmed its commitment to reach the annual threshold of 2,500 immigrants by 2022 despite the negative impact of the COVID-19.
