Nova Scotia has officially closed Nova Scotia Demand: Express Entry
On January 4, 2021, the government of Nova Scotia has officially stopped accepting applications in the Nova Scotia Demand: Express Entry Stream of the Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP). This stream had two substreams: Category A and Category B. Foreign nationals with active Express Entry profile could apply for a nomination of the province. The last invitation round in the Category B occurred on April 28, 2018. Since then, the stream did not reopen. As for Category A, according to the Nova Scotia Office of Immigration, the Nova Scotia Labour Market Priorities stream better performs its tasks to fulfil the provincial immigration needs. As of now, Nova Scotia has eight different streams in NSNP.
