Thunder Bay completed the first-year intake in the RNIP
On December 22, 2020, Thunder Bay, ON, published the results of the first year of the three-year-long Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot (RNIP). Since the last update on December 10, Thunder Bay issued additional community recommendations to 4 candidates in the NOC 0 level, 1 candidate in the NOC A skills level, 5 candidates in the NOC B skills level, and 2 candidates in the NOC C skills level. In total, in the first year of the pilot which started in November 2019, the city recommended 69 candidates:
- NOC 0 – 4 persons
- NOC A – 5 persons
- NOC B – 42 persons
- NOC C – 16 persons
- NOC D – 2 persons
Allocations for the second year of the RNIP are not determined yet.
