Thunder Bay has opened the first intake round in the RNIP
On January 4, 2021, Thunder Bay has opened the first intake round in the Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot. This round will continue until January 8, 4:30 PM EST. At the moment, registration for those with job offers in priority occupations is open for all candidates. Registration for foreigners with job offers in any occupation (all NOCs are eligible) is open only to candidates who reside in Thunder Bay for at least 2 years; are authorized to work in Canada; and are employed with the eligible employer. At the same time, registration for job offers requiring the use of French (all NOCs are eligible) is also open for all candidates. Thunder Bay plans to hold 12 intakes in 2021. In 2020, Thunder Bay issued 69 community recommendations.
